Diane has always worked with dogs and is considered to have a natural talent for communicating with animals. Her love for dogs started at a very early age and continued to develop into a life long passion that eventually led her, over a decade ago, to pursue her certification as a Professional Dog Trainer. Diane is passionate about helping people create a meaningful, fun and fulfilling relationship with their dog. Her greatest sense of accomplishment comes from helping an owner form a strong, respectful lasting bond with their dog by using dog psychology, positive reinforcement and rewarding training techniques.
Diane continues to enhance her animal behavior and training education and graduated from a program specializing in scent detection, search and rescue, retrieving, tracking, agility, training service and therapy dogs.
You’ll appreciate Diane’s honesty, passion and common sense approach as she teaches you to master positive and gentle effective training methods.
Diane has worked with a wide range of behavioral challenges including aggression, separation anxiety, fear based reactivity... For her, one of the most fulfilling aspects of dog training is watching the wheels turn in both the humans’ and the dogs’ heads: the “aHA!” moment when two species understand each other. That experience never gets old.
Just Dawg It offers you, your dog’s real trainer, the tools to build communication, mutual respect, and trust. I will show you how to understand your dog, how to teach your dog to understand you, and how to fit training your dog into your busy schedule.
Before I was a trainer I had dogs and made many of the same mistakes that I see my clients making. When I decided to follow my passion and become a trainer I changed the way I worked with animals and that is when I saw my dogs fully meet their potential. It not only changed my dogs' life it changed mine as well. I want to share that with you.
