Training Services

Whether you just welcomed a new dog into your home or you would like to refresh your training with your current dog, this is the program to start with. This is a fun program that will help you develop, build and strengthen the special bond you will share with your dog for life. The training sessions will be based around trust and mutual respect. 

Early puppy socialization and training are the keys to your success as a dog owner.
The arrival of a new puppy is an exciting time for the household, so let’s get your puppy off to the right start. Your guidance and leadership will determine what type of dog he will become. You will learn how to train your new puppy:  Sit, Down, Place, Stay, Loose Leash, Puppy Proofing, Crate Training, Play Biting, Jumping Up, Barking, Socialization.

Is your dog jumping on people and furniture, darting out the front door, barking excessively, digging holes, chewing up furniture, reactive on the leash, reactive towards people and dogs, suffering from separation anxiety?  Stress no more.  Through positive training techniques I can help you establish boundaries, work on impulse control and give your dog a new perspective on life. 

Your dog will learn: Sit, Down, Place, Leave-it, Loose Leash Walking, Recall, Crate and Potty Training if necessary. During your dogs stay all commands will be “proofed” in areas with distractions.  This includes two to three one on one training sessions throughout the day, walks in and around town, socialization and playtime. Programs are customized for individual dogs but include all basic commands.

It’s hard to leave our dogs when we are headed out of town for a holiday or vacation. You don’t need to worry, we will not only take care of your dog but while you are gone he will get some training. This includes two to three one on one training sessions throughout the day, walks in and around town, short runs, supervised socialization and playtime. Programs are customized for individual dogs and include all basic commands, i.e. sit, down, loose leash walking and recall.
